We are delighted that you are seeking further information about being married at one of our churches. Marriage as outlined in the Bible is an important step for all couples.
In the Bible, in a book called Ecclesiastes, in chapter 4 verse 12 it states:
'A cord of three strands is not soon parted.'
As a couple, we hope you will
discover that you are better able to face all the stresses and strains of modern
life than you will alone.
However, the time will surely come when you need a third strand-, a strand which will see you through your life together and make you even stronger; a strand which will enable you to survive the fiercest test. This strand is Jesus Christ, whom we worship at St John's and St Mark's, and whom we follow day by day.
We would welcome the opportunity to assist you in your arrangements for a marriage at either St John's or St Mark's Church.
On a Friday evening between 5pm and 7pm we have specialist staff available to discuss your plans and how best to make them a reality. So contact us on 01255-423435 or email us at office@gtclactonparish.co.uk.
We look forward to meeting you.
