This is the Notice that the Archdeacon asked us to read out in Church about the interviews for a new vicar.

‘Wednesday 14th March, as many of you will know, we ran a day of visits and interviews for three candidates who were hoping to become our new vicar we want to thank all of the PCC and church members who worked so hard all day  enabling a really good process to take place  and thank you too for all your prayers.

We were especially pleased that Bishop Rod and Charles Marnham,  our patron, along with Archdeacon Annette were there with us for the day as part of the interview panel.  We are sorry to have to report that no appointment has been possible at this time so we will shall need to run a new appointment process until we discern the person that God is calling to be our vicar.

Please will you continue to pray for us as your parish rep, your PCC, Clergy and Lay Readers as we continue in our work together during this vacancy.

Many thanks for your support Stephanie and Roger’

However the good news is that we will be advertising after Easter
